Officially emerging in 2015, Pull
String Prophet had been in the works for nearly a decade. The Lancaster, PA-based hard rock outfit's first offering, The Company We Keep, was released on July
7, 2015. Comprised of 14 tracks, the record spans between genres,
offering something for every listener.
On March 11, 2016, a cover of the U2 classic "Until the End of the
World" was released. While staying true to the original, the Pull
String Prophet version adds a harder edge, signature to the songs from The
Company We Keep.
In mid-2016 work began on a follow-up to the 2015 debut. Finally
released on November 27, 2020, Vultures proved to be a huge
leap forward. Featuring six brand-new songs, an immensely different
version of the song "One Night" - previously released on The
Company We Keep, and two acoustic tracks, Vultures showed
the true potential of Pull String Prophet.
October 2021 brought the release of the single "MMXXi" - a
tongue-in-cheek reflection on the political unrest plaguing the United
States. Defined by Pull String Prophet's hardest edge to date, "MMXXi"
shows a departure from the typical hard rock sound, both musically and
lyrically.
